Happy Earth Day!

In honor of Earth Day last Sunday, Alina did an Earth Day week with the kids. Thank goodness someone teaches them something around here!

They used some already-written-on paper to make this masterpiece. They cut circles on it and decided what they woud do for Earth day. Nolan will take 4-minute showers. Abby will not leave the water on while brushing her teeth. Ava will give her apples with one bite out of them to the guinea pigs and Dave will recycle his beer bottles. See? Earth Day is alive and well!

After painting, they played in the "ocean" with all of these sea creatures. Aren't they cute?

 But oh no!! What's that??? in the corner? An oil tanker! There's been an oil spill! (Who knew Exxon was so close to our house, and looks like vegetable oil?)

 Whew! Max and Ava to the rescue! They cleaned off the oil and restored order to our oceans. Just in time!
