Just ordinary days

Well, it sure feels like ordinary days around here now. After Abby's last day of school on Monday, the beach on Tuesday and the zoo on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday were just regular days at home. We had lots of fun, doing some of this (camping out in the living room at rest time)

this (brothers wrestling)

and this (dressing up in halloween costumes!)

Next week starts Y classes on Tuesday and Thursday, which I think will be good for the schedule, too. This day a week at work on Monday might end up being just too much! :)

This weekend was also nice. It sounds a lot like a lot of the other weekends we've had... Friday we hung out with the neighbors, Saturday was hot, so we hung out with the neighbors, and also made our own slip and slide:

Sunday was a beautiful day, and the first time in a long time we didn't have to worry about weather! The neighbors were baptizing Kyle, their 8-month old, so we went to that church. Mass was at 10:00, and it was funny because 2 minutes after church started, my boss and his wife and three kids came and sat in front of us. I'm not sure which one of us was more surprised! After that, I let the kids play at the playground until 12:00 when the baptism started and we watched that, which was very nice. Afterwards, it was back home and to the neighbor's house for the baptism party, walk to the park, hanging out some more and just a general, ordinary, nice day!

Oh yeah, HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to any fathers out there... especially mine!

And, of course my husband who's not afraid of getting out there and having fun with the kids. (Sometimes I wonder if he sets the stuff up for them or for him!)

And finally, I leave you with this picture of Abby. Max is getting in his ninth tooth, but it seems that Abby is losing them as fast as Max finds them. This is number 6 for her, two of them on top were lost just this weekend.

Oh no! What will the poor girl eat??

Happy week to all!
