Just realized I never published this! Awhile back (2 months maybe?), this was on our steps. Abby was reading with Max on the porch, and realized something was out there. Abby being Abby made Max go check it out, and this is what he saw when he opened the door. I have no idea how or why he climbed the stairs, but I guess he liked it there! Ultimately, the neighborhood critter dealer (aka, Rocky) came and put him in a wheelbarrow and delivered him to the pond.
Abby, Nolan, Max, Ava... They look harmless enough! And really, they are. I may never have guessed how my life would turn out, but I couldn't imagine it any other way.
